Robert Mann Packaging (RMP) has announced the acquisition of the US-based Cypress Packaging & Supply, a supplier of corrugated packaging and allied items to the California central coast area.
Corrugated carton and cardboard box manufacturer RMP, which bought the existing inventory of Cypress Packaging's Castroville warehouse, will begin manufacturing containers for Cypress customers.
RMP president Steve Carroll said Cypress supplies packaging to the seafood & industrial, floral nursery and produce industries in the central coast area.
"Our goal to continue to grow market share is tempered with our goal of remaining a high service packaging company," Carroll said.
According to RMP, its Salinas box plant will serve the former Cypress customers.
