Brown Fused Alumina Oxide

Brown fused aluminum oxide - BFA is also called Brown corundum, the color is dark brown if crushed from dumping furnace, and its color is light brown if crushed from fixing furnace.

 

Grits of dumping furnace:

More crystal aggregates, smaller size of crystal, bad toughness, good brittleness, good self-sharpening, suitable for bonded abrasives and refractory.

Grits of fixing furnace:

Small crystal aggregates, bigger size of crystal, good toughness, bad brittleness, good grinding ability, suitable for coated abrasives.

 

Coated abrasives are comprised of an abrasives grains, a backing material and an adhesive. Sandpaper rolls, cloth sanding rolls, film, rolls; Ideal for high speed sanding of flat surface where material removal is the priority; Blending edges, seams and corners, weld grinding and deburring; Offer right angle grinding versatility with a product that can grind and finish in a single operation; Deburring, surface preparation prior to coating, cleaning weld splatter, finishing pipes and cylinders. It is as coated abrasive is generally used for the production of brown corundum grain size sand as molds, and the produced sandpaper and gauze products have a more uniform and fine surface.
